Dr. Neelima Ravi has almost always known she wanted to be a dentist. After completing dental school in both India and the US, Dr. Ravi was excited to get to work and practiced general dentistry in Massachusetts. Though she enjoyed her dental family and caring for her patients, Dr. Ravi found that she ultimately wanted to foster a more personal office environment. Five years later, she opened Oceanside Family Dental and couldn’t be happier with her decision!
All told, Dr. Ravi has over twenty years of experience in dentistry. Her education didn’t end with her studies at the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, though! Dr. Ravi actively pursues advanced training opportunities, and in 2021, earned a Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry – something only 6% of dentist in both the US and Canada have achieved. Other notable accomplishments include completing courses for Waterlase technology, sleep apnea therapy, and implant dentistry, as well as becoming a SPEAR faculty member.
As a caring and compassionate provider, Dr. Ravi makes it a point to listen to her patients attentively and make sure they’re comfortable during their visits. She won’t settle for anything short of excellence, even at home! Dr. Ravi is constantly working on her personal growth and is very passionate about spending time with her wonderful husband and children. I haven't been to the dentist in six years due to anxiety and knowing the extensive work that would need to be done.
